Multicomfort house student contest

Participating countries in 2007

At the 3rd International MULTICOMFORT HOUSE STUDENT CONTEST in 2007, architecture students from nine different nations participated: Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and for the first time Austria, Latvia and Slovakia were also competing in the contest.

The final stage of the Students Contest took place in Belgrade, Serbia from May 14th to the 16th of 2007.

At the beginning of the first day of the contest, the students could examine the 40 submitted projects which were exhibited in the creative and respectful atmosphere of the Architectural Faculty's Great Hall at the University of Belgrade. Afterwards, the teams highlighted the main ideas behind their designs in a short expose, which prompted a discussion between the students about the MULTICOMFORT HOUSE approaches utilized.

The student presentations enabled the jury to obtain a better understanding of the submitted projects. Finally, the judges had to make a difficult choice and spent the whole afternoon to examine ten excellent projects. In following, the jury compared the best projects in order to determine the winners.

Meanwhile, the students had the chance to see the capital's sights during a boat tour on the Danube and Sava rivers, a bus tour through Belgrade's old and new districts, and a walk to the city fortress and through the city center.

In the evening, the prizes for the Architectural Students Contest were awarded and then celebrated with a big party.
